The 2017 Annual General Meeting of Dunderry GAA Club will be held on Sunday, 10th December at 4pm in the clubhouse.
The outgoing committee are inviting nominations for all roles within the Club. We would like to broaden out the net throughout the parish to form the 2018 GAA Committee.
We are particularly keen to take nominations for the role of Club Secretary for 2018. The Secretary role is a crucial within the club. It has been filled by Con O'Neill to great effect in recent years. We thank Con for his hard work and dedication to the club. Con is on hand to assist in the handover of this role, but we are seeking a new club member for the position. Thank you Con for all the work over the years.
We are also seeking nominations for people onto the Dunderry Club Executive Committee. The Club Executive are a wide ranging group of people who will be looking at all aspects of the club raging from playing, fund raising, capital projects to membership. If you would like to be part of this, please let us know.
Full members over the age of 18 years are entitled to vote, permitted to nominate a member for election to the Executive Committee and invited to forward motions for consideration at the AGM.
Nominations and submission of motions for discussion at the AGM must be received by Con before Sunday 19th November. This can be done by email to secretary.dunderry.meath@gaa.ie
The consent of the persons being nominated should be obtained in advance. If only 1 nomination for each committee role that person declared elected.
The following business shall be transacted at the AGM
(a) Adoption of Standing Orders.
(b) Minutes of previous Annual General Meeting.
(c) Consideration of the Annual Report submitted by the Secretary.
(d) Consideration of the Financial Statements including the Report of the Treasurer
(e) The Chairman's Address.
(f) Election of Officers and Members of the Executive
Committee.
(g) Notices of Motion.
(h) Other Business.
