Dunderry jersey goes to Ethiopia
Dunderry's U17 player Cian Egenton along with seven other school mates recently travelled to Ethiopia as part of the Vincentian Lay Mission Project.
During this trip Cian got to work with primary children, who walked various distances to school.
Cian's trip was self funded through various fundraisers and sponsorship to which he would like to express his gratitude.
This lucky boy got to keep this Dunderry jersey which was sent out with Cian. The club were delighted to help Cian on such a worthy project.
Cian contacted the club to say "I wanted to thank all my friends, team mates and members of Dunderry GAA for all their support at my coffee morning and in the run up to my trip. I believe the trip was worthwhile and I tried to represent the people that supported me to the best of my ability."
Well done to Cian, a great example to everyone connected with the parish of Dunderry, Robinstown & Kilbride, and Dunderry GAA Club.
