Donaghmore Asbourne overcame O'Mahonys in yesterday's Premier Division 8 Football Final from 2020. What was notable from a Dunderry point of view was that the captain from Donaghmore Ashbourne was presented with the Jack Devine cup.
Jack Devine was a recipient of a Meath Sean Gael Award (2001) and Meath GAA’s Hall of Fame award in 2011, Jack passed away on Christmas Eve 2019 at the old age of 97.
He served Dunderry GAA club in a variety of positions and was best known as the club’s long-serving and efficient PRO. He was an ever-present at Royal County games the length and breadth of the country and is greatly missed at games.
