This seemed too jolt Dunderry into life a following move involving Morgan Callaghan, Martyn and Paddy Kennelly found the industrious Conor Daly whose fierce shot hit the net. This was followed by a Kennelly point. Minutes later Dec Mahon volleyed into the roof of the net but Duleek responded with 4 unanswered points.
All the drama was kept till the end of this encounter. In the 59th minute Kennelly received a pass from Gareth Dooley he side stepped 2 defenders and fired a powerful shot at the Duleek goal it took a wicked deflection and found the top right corner of the net. Duleek scored a point then Callaghan won the resulting kick out and found Jordan Martin out wide he soloed to about 30 yards out and was fouled. He lofted in a high ball Kennelly and Martyn challenged with 2 defenders it bounced around until it found Conor Farrell his shot took a deflection and it looped up over the keeper into the net in the 63rd min to put Dunderry ahead.
