Rathmolyon 1-13 Dunderry 3-13
Dunderry continued their unbeaten run in the All County HL Division 3 on Wednesday night in perfect conditions in Rathmoylon.
Even though short 4 regulars due to County commitments and injury Dunderry started fast with Conor Farrell opening the scoring in the first minute. Conor O'Shea and captain Stephen Coogan followed with long range points and by the 16th minute Dunderry were 1-6 to 0-3 in front, Farrell geeting the game first goal.
The homeside came back into the game and scoring 6 points but the visitors went in at the break 1-8 to 0-9 in front.
Dylan Keenan extended the lead early in the second half with a brace of points before the impressive Jamie Leavy scored a goal after good work by Jordan Martin, Keenan and Farrell. O'Shea scored another superb long range point in the 47th min followed in the 49th by a Leavy free.
Corner back Aron Feeney was having a superb game and following another tackle he found Coogan who raced pass his marker and from 30yrds put over a fine point in the 52nd min. The final play of the game saw Leavy capitalise on a defencive lapse and find the net to leave the final score 1-13 to 3-13 to Dunderry.
Next up is the re-arranged fixture away to Kildalkey.
